For the second year in a row, Mueller Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation has been nominated by our community for the title of Best Small Business Customer Service in White Bear Lake Magazine ’s 2014 “Best of White Bear Lake” reader’s choice survey.
We’ll learn who takes home the top prize between Mueller Memorial, Indulge Salon and Frattalone’s Ace Hardware tonight at the White Bear Lake Magazine event at Manitou Station. It’s a tough field, but the team at our White Bear Lake funeral home is honored just by the nomination.
Best Small Business Customer Service is a broad category and really any type of business is eligible. There isn’t a Best Funeral Home category, so we’re nominated along with an interesting variety of service-oriented businesses. Our constant challenge and goal is to try to provide a meaningful customer experience at one of the worst times in peoples’ lives. This nomination feels like recognition of that, and it means a lot to us.
In recent years, our team at Mueller Memorial has been making changes to elevate the level of service provided at our White Bear Lake and St. Paul funeral homes. Innovations include better connectivity through a custom website at MuellerMemorial.com, hosting services to help visitors feel more like a guest in a home, and community outreach through social media and local events.
We’re really enthusiastic about the new service offerings we’ve got in the works for 2014, such as facility improvements and programs that will help make the planning and funeral experience easier and more manageable for our customers.
Scott’s even written the book on how to plan a funeral—literally. He recently completed “What to Know Before You Go: An Insider’s Answers to the Most Commonly Asked Questions About Death, Grief and Funerals” to help people be better prepared making funeral decisions or planning a funeral service for themselves or someone in their care.
