Come See Us Around Town
Mueller Memorial’s Fall 2026 Community Events
Fall always seems to bring people back together. School is in session, the leaves start turning, calendars fill up again, and before long we’re bumping into neighbors at festivals, fundraisers, classes and community gatherings all over the Twin Cities.
We’ll be out and about quite a bit this fall, too. Some of these events are simply good fun. Others offer a chance to learn something new, support a good cause, or have conversations about topics that can be easier to approach when there’s no immediate need.
We’d love to see you at one—or several—of these upcoming events.
Lunch & Learn Funeral Pre-Planning Seminar
Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 11:30 a.m.
Mueller Memorial – White Bear Lake
4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake, MN 55110
Join Annie Saukko, our Pre-Need Specialist, for lunch and a comfortable, informative conversation about funeral planning. We’ll talk through some of the important decisions families eventually face, including cremation, burial and Veterans benefits. Lunch will be catered by Panera, and there will be plenty of time for questions.
There is no pressure to make any decisions—just an opportunity to learn, ask questions and leave with a better understanding of your options.

Gloria’s 14th Annual Food Shelf Shortest Marathon
Saturday, September 19, 2026 | 10:30 a.m.–Noon
Mueller Memorial, White Bear Lake (right out front on Bald Eagle Ave)
4738 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake, MN 55110
This may be the only marathon where you can see the finish line from the starting line.
Gloria’s Food Shelf Shortest Marathon is a beloved White Bear Lake tradition: a one-block run/walk benefiting the White Bear Area Food Shelf. It began with Gloria Carpenter in 2011 and has grown into a wonderfully lighthearted way for neighbors of every age and athletic ability to come together for a serious cause. The 2026 event begins gathering at 10:30 a.m.
We’ve been happy to support this event over the years, and we hope you’ll put on your most unnecessarily serious running shoes and join us.

Church of St. Peter
2600 Margaret St. N., North St. Paul, MN 55109
If a fall weekend filled with good food, music, games and neighbors sounds about right, make your way to North St. Paul for the Church of St. Peter Fall Festival.
The parish is planning a full weekend of live music, shopping, games, food trucks and family fun, and Mueller Memorial is glad to be part of it again this year. We’ll be sponsoring the beer tent and pancake breakfast, which gives you two pretty good reasons to stop by. The parish has announced the September 19–20 dates, with the complete 2026 schedule still being planned.

Burgers for the Troops
Monday, October 26, 2026 | 5–8 p.m.
Hugo American Legion
5383 140th St. N., Hugo, MN 55038
Here’s one Monday when you have our full permission to skip cooking dinner.
Mueller Memorial is proud to join the Hugo Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Network for Burgers for the Troops, an easy—and tasty—way to support local service members and military families. For $7, you’ll get a hamburger and chips, with proceeds helping the local Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Network continue its work.
Throughout the year, YRN volunteers send hundreds of requested care packages to deployed service members and help military families here at home with everything from moving and household projects to practical support during deployments and recovery from injuries.
Mueller Memorial is proud to be the October 2026 sponsor for Burgers for the Troops, and we couldn’t be more pleased to lend a hand.
So take the night off from cooking, grab a burger and help us support some deserving neighbors.
