“The Funeral Home with the Bar” Most funeral home buildings are, frankly, terrible. We all know what to expect when we walk into one, dim lighting, Victorian couches, brass candelabras, floral everything. You’re already uncomfortable going in, then the design of the environment just makes it worse.

Mueller Memorial has changed all that. Recently we’ve overhauled our spaces to make them feel more like an approachable restaurant than a stuffy funeral home. This includes the addition of Minnesota’s first built-in bar at funeral home.


The purpose of this redesign is to make our spaces comfortable and flexible. Families can use the building for the most traditional funeral, or it can be used for the person who always said they “just want a big party.” Both would feel right at home with us.

Technology is also a big part of what we do. We are now able to livestream services from both locations in White Bear Lake and St. Paul, making sure that everyone in your family, near or far, has a chance to feel included.
