Whenever we have the chance, we love to get involved with local groups that support charitable causes. If a member of our team brings an idea to us and we can lend a hand, we pride ourselves on doing everything we can to do so.

That’s exactly what happened when our pre-planning specialist, Jessica Stern, told us about Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Network in Hugo.
The second Jessica told us about their Burgers for the Troops events last year, we knew we wanted to sponsor one. Last year we got in touch with Chuck, the director of the Hugo chapter, arranged to sponsor one of the nights and it was a fantastic experience! So once again this year we agreed to purchase the food for a night, this time for the evening of September 26th . That way, all the money guests pay for burgers will go straight toward BYRN’s amazing work helping families experiencing a deployment.
And all you have to do is show up and buy a cheeseburger.
We hope you’ll join us for the Burgers for the Troops event at the Hugo American Legion on Wednesday, September 26, from 5–8 p.m. Cost is $6 for a hamburger & chips, substitute fries for $1 more.
Take a break from the kitchen for a night and bring your family out for a burger. It’s going to be an awesome evening for a worthy cause, and we couldn’t be more proud to be a part of it.
