Morris, William L. "Bill", 89, Lifetime resident of White Bear Lake, passed away on October 12, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy; son, John; granddaughter, Sarah; and brother, Jack. He is survived by his children, Wanda (Jim) Sprygada and Michael (Carol); grandchildren, Noah, Holly, and Amanda; great grandchildren; and brother, Floyd (Kathy).
Bill was a proud Army Veteran of the 82nd Airborne. In 1957, he and Kathy were married and throughout their marriage they enjoyed many adventures and travels together. He worked for the City of White Bear Lake and was a volunteer Fireman on the Fire and Rescue Team. After his retirement, he enjoyed volunteering with the Rifle Squad at Fort Snelling and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
An Honor Service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Wednesday, November 12, at 1:45 PM, arrive through Gate 2, gather at Assembly Area 2. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Brains Together for a Cure, www.brainstogetherforacure.org

Go Past the Main Gate off of 34th Ave and continue to the Second Entrance
Turn RIGHT into the second entrance to the cemetery, where there is a sign marked “FUNERAL CORTEGE ENTRANCE”
There are listed assembly areas for groups to gather in, we will meet in Assembly Area 2
All Guests Must Arrive by 1:45 PM
Once you arrive at the assembly area, please stay inside your vehicles, we will go together in procession to the commital shelter where the Honor Service will be held.
