William "Bill" Krey

William "Bill" Krey

Age 82 of Stillwater, MN

Died on October 26, 2026.
Bill was a proud graduate of Mahtomedi H.S. and the University of Minnesota. He was the long time owner of Gerber Jewelers in St. Paul. Bill loved playing hockey - from age 4 and until he was 75 - and he spent a fair amount of that time in the penalty box. His coach would say "Krey you can't score when you're in the box!" Bill loved playing sports and fitness throughout his life: football, hockey, baseball, golf, skiing, running, and lifting weights. He had many hobbies like boating, old cars, and riding Harley's - he loved connecting with friends. Most importantly, Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Preceded in death by parents, Kenneth & Eunice; wife, Geri; siblings, Judie, Mike, Paul, and Peter. Bill is survived by his children, Adam (Margaret) & Andrea (Todd); grandchildren, Sam (Meredith), Mariah, McKenna (Miguel), Ava, and Jonny; siblings, Sally, Jim, Kathy, and Patty.
