Bender, Walter H.
Walter, Age 84, surrounded by his family, peacefully went home to be with Jesus on April 23, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Eleanore; 3 sons, Jim (Sally), Tim (Stephanie) and John (Alicia); 6 granddaughters, Natalie, Lydia, Meredith, Michaela, Isabelle and Savannah; sisters, Arleen Stroh and Eunice (Vernon) Boehlke. Funeral Service Friday, 10:30 am at Woodbury Lutheran Church, 7380 Afton Road, Woodbury with visitation from 9:30 to the time of services. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
