Victoria (Vicki) Beatrice Imdieke

September 16, 1944 - January 7, 2026

Longtime Mahtomedi resident Victoria "Vicki" Beatrice Imdieke, age 81, passed away on the evening of January 7, 2026. She was born in St. Paul, MN.

Vicki grew up in La Crosse, WI and East St. Paul surrounded by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family was always central in her world, and some of her fondest memories came from the laughter and shenanigans she shared with her cousins. She graduated from Harding High School in 1962, and began working at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. It was there that Vicki met her future husband, Edward "Ed" Imdieke. They were married on August 14, 1965, beginning a devoted partnership that lasted 60 years. Together, they built their lives in Mahtomedi, where they raised three children. While raising her children, she opened an in-home daycare, touching many little hearts. Vicki then worked most of her life at Auto Owners Insurance Company. Though a busy, working mom she found enjoyment in joining a bowling league, an activity that combined her love of routine, friendly competition, and socializing.

In retirement, Vicki volunteered her time at St. Jude of the Lake and enjoyed traveling-though she would often say she didn't travel nearly enough. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life: feeling the warmth of the sun on her skin, sipping a glass of White Zinfandel, listening to music (especially Elvis, The Highwaymen, and classic country), or tending to her garden. She also had a lifelong appreciation for vintage cars and an impressive ability to identify their make and model.

Vicki will be remembered for her quiet strength and her deep love for her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and a proud great-grandmother whose legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.

She is survived by her brother, Randy (Diana) Miller; her children, Brady Imdieke, Paige (Denny) Fringer, and Tonya (Steve) Harty; her grandchildren, Tori (RJ) Ruybal, Veronica (Dathan) Baroz, Casey Fringer, Annabelle Harty, and Ben Harty; and her great-grandchildren, Brielle Baroz, Elena Ruybal, and Trey Ruybal. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Ed" Imdieke; her parents, Beatrice Veronica & CS Peter Miller; her brother-in-law, James Hoffman; and her niece, Mara Hoffman-Hess.

Vicki's family will forever cherish her memory. A Catholic funeral service will be held at St. Jude of the Lake Catholic Church on Thursday, January 15th at 11 AM, 700 Mahtomedi Ave, Mahtomedi, with a visitation one hour prior at the church. Interment immediately following the Mass at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
