Timothy Robert VanDell Sr.
Age 75 of White Bear Lake
Passed away February 10, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

Tim's warmth, humor, and love for life left a mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his beloved wife Pat, with whom he shared the joy of raising their children and watching their grandchildren grow and participate in sports. Tim's dedication to his large extended family was the cornerstone of his life, and his presence at family gatherings will be profoundly missed. A proud veteran, Tim served his country in the US Army and will be honored with full military honors at Fort Snelling. Professionally, Tim dedicated many years to the US Post Office, from which he retired at the age of 60. Tim's sense of humor was legendary, often cited as the first thing people would mention about him. His ability to listen and be a true friend was valued by all who knew him. Tim was an avid golfer. Their Saturday games at Bristol Ridge Golf Course in Somerset, WI, were filled with jokes, friendly heckling, and shared joy. This tradition, which Tim cherished, will continue in his honor. In the winter months, the golfing group transitioned to bowling, maintaining the same spirit of camaraderie. For those not wintering in warmer climates, the bowling alley became a place of continued friendship and laughter. We invite all who knew Tim to hold onto the memories you shared with him, to recount the stories that bring a smile to your face, and to celebrate the life of a man who was truly one of a kind. Tim's legacy of love, laughter, and friendship will live on in the hearts of those he touched. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who was a part of Tim's journey. Your love and friendship meant the world to him, and it comforts us to know how many lives he touched. Please join us in remembering Tim and celebrating the remarkable life he led.
Preceded in death by his father, William; sister, Pat Handlos and brothers, Tom and Billy. Tim is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Pat; his children, Tim Jr. (Vicki) and Tracy (Ron) Parker; his mother, Lorraine; grandsons, Brendon, Austin (Hailey) and Alex; siblings, Barb (Paul) Robinson, Mary Jo, Beverly (Bobby), Keith (Karri) and by a large group of extended family members and friends.
