Thomas J. "Tom" Rodrique

Thomas James Rodrique, age 67 of Eau Claire WI, formerly of St Paul MN. Tom was preceded in death by his Son, Jeffrey; Parents, Lloyd and Elizabeth (step mother Waneta); Sister, Kathleen; Nephew, Shane and longtime life partner, Vicki Kumfermann. Survived by daughter, Jessica (Brad); ex-wife Evelyn; grandchildren, Alyssa and Annika (MN) and Kaitlyn and Matthew (Kristy) (OK); siblings, Greg (Cindy) Rodrique, Mary (Tom) Vierling, Jerry (Terry) Rodrique, Vicki (Kevin) Slaikeu, Jim Rodrique, Barbara LeVasseur, Bill (Kim) Rodrique, Julie Thole, Susan (Adam) Shackett and Debbie Knox.

Tom was loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family, along with many caring friends and neighbors.

Tom was born and raised on the East Side of St Paul MN, Dayton's Bluff Area. He attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and attended Sacred Heart Church where he was an Alter Boy. He then went on to Mounds Park Jr. High and graduated from Harding High School in 1973. Soon after graduation, he joined the military, Army branch.

Tom then drove Semi Truck for many years, enjoying every mile as he listened to many historical educational cassette tapes which he loved. Tom was a lover of great music of all types. He played a mean harmonica that was always enjoyed by the entire family.

Tom moved to, and settled, in Eau Claire Wi with his long time partner Vicki Kumfermann. There, he enjoyed his home, yard, garden, neighbors and of course lots of tunes in his garage. His entire life,, Tom loved to joke, prank, tease and make people laugh. He was genuinely fun loving, and an extremely giving and welcoming person. We'll miss your calls brother. Our hearts are broken forever.

In honor of Tom's memory we will be holding a Celebration of Life at the North St Paul VFW on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm.
