Stephen Karl Fischer

October 2nd 1950 - December 13th 2025

Preceded in death by parents Don Fischer and Joan (Wehrle) Fischer. Survived by wife Judy, daughters Kathy (Jason), Amber (Jake), grandchildren Lanae (Derek) and Alex, siblings Larry (Chris), Marty (Katsy), Laurel (Richard), Bob (Kim), Carol (Don), Jenny (Kelly) and many loving nieces and nephews.

Steve was a simple and quiet man. He was a content soul who spent his time camping, canoeing, watercolor painting, wood block printing, making flies for fly fishing, wood working, and making many bows, arrows, and boats in his lifetime. He loved his annual trips to the BWCA, especially on some of his favorite lakes: Brule and Sawbill.

Steve did not wish for a formal or traditional service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Friends of the BWCA, honoring a place that Steve loved so much.
