Russell E. Garrod Extraordinary Husband & Father Age 93 of St. Paul Passed away peacefully at home on May 22, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by parents, John and Inez; and sister, Grace. Survived by beloved wife of 72 years, Nila (nee Evans); children, Cheryl of Little Canada and Michael (Priscila) of Paraguay, SA; sister-in-law, Marilyn Caster; a niece and his nephews; and many dear friends. Founding member of Eastern Heights Lutheran Church; retired after nearly 40 years from 3M. Visitation 2:30-3:30 PM with Memorial Service at 3:30 PM on Friday, May 29, 2015 at The Shores of Lake Phalen, 1870 East Shore Dr., Maplewood. Reception to follow. Memorials preferred to the donor’s choice.
