Ronald William "Ron" Borowiak, age 88, of Stillwater, passed away at home on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

Ron was born to Ethel (née Tessin) and Andrew Borowiak in East Chain, MN, and grew up in the Hokah, MN area. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.

In 1963, Ron married the love of his life, Bernadine "Bernie" Dolle, and they shared 59 wonderful years together before her passing in 2022.

Ron dedicated many years of service to the Saint Paul Public School System. Following his retirement, he became affectionately known as "Santa Ron," bringing joy and laughter to many, including friends and family. After the holidays, Ron and Bernie enjoyed spending time together vacationing in Palm Springs, CA.

A man of deep faith, Ron was a devoted member of St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church. His warm smile, kind heart, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Ron is lovingly remembered by his sons, Brian; David (Janet); and Steven (Karissa Fletcher); his grandsons, Andrew (Kalie) and Aric (Mariella Ciccarelli); his great-granddaughter, Zinnia, his siblings, Robert (Barbara) and Sharon Matzek; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bernie; his infant daughter, Joan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church, 1757 Conway Street, St. Paul, Minnesota. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
