Roger F. Ludwig

Ludwig Roger F. Loving Husband, Dad & Grandpa Age 78 of Grant/Mahtomedi Went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2016. Survived by wife Nancy of 48 years; children Roger, Michael, & Amy; grandchildren Rachel, Stephen, Noah, Cyrus, & Asher; siblings Peter Ludwig, Bill Ludwig and Pat Botzet. Roger was a missionary in the Bahamas, proudly served in the US Army, played briefly for the Vikings, was a graduate of St. John's University, taught & coached at Hill Murray, St. Thomas, St. John's and Mahtomedi, probation officer for Ramsey County, Owner of Ludwig Construction, chaplain for many years for American Legion Post # 507 and Lay Presider at St. Jude's church. Roger is rejoicing with his parents William & Ann and sister Judy Rougier. Visitation Friday, January 29th from 6-8:00 pm at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 4738 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, January 30th at 11:00 am at ST. JUDE OF THE LAKE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 700 Mahtomedi Avenue, Mahtomedi with visitation also one hour before the Mass. Interment FORT SNELLING NATIONAL CEMETERY on Monday (February 1) at 1:00 pm.
