Rebecca "Becky" Wyganowski

Rebecca Lynn Wyganowski, “Becky,” of St Paul, was born on December 31,1966 and passed away, surrounded by family on July 16, 2025, at the age of 58. She is survived by her loving husband Jay Mews and their canine companion, Boji; brother Bob (Kristy) and their sons Brandon and Ryan; brother Russ (Renaye) and their children Rachel, Garrett, Trevor and Hannah; brother-in-law Lorne and his daughter Evelyn; sister-in-law Beth and her sons Zach and Parker; brother-in-law Richard and his daughter Catherine; beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Judith (nee Kern). Becky graduated from the College of St Thomas (pre “University” days) and retired from a career at Wells Fargo (formerly Norwest Bank) as a leader, mentor, and team builder in information technology. She worked for Ecolab part-time as a customer service rep in her retirement. Becky lived an authentic life where she prioritized investing in family and friends. She would drop anything to cheer on her nieces and nephews at sports and school events or to spend a day with family and friends for their birthdays. She enjoyed participating in a women’s golf league, broomball, flag football, and attending Minnesota Vikings, Wild, and Gopher football and hockey games. Becky loved the Minnesota State Fair, fulfilling a commitment to herself to attend every day of the Fair the year she retired. She was an avid reader. She loved good food, family game nights, Gull Lake, the North Shore, attending concerts and traveling to find adventures outside Minnesota with her husband, close family and friends. Becky’s fierce loyalty will be missed by all those she loved and who loved her. Service Friday, July 25, 2025, at 12 noon at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul, with visitation starting at 11:00am. Private family burial at Lakeview Cemetery in Windom, MN.
