Phillip Rivard

July 18, 1930 — November 27, 2021

Phillip F. Rivard, Age 91, of Oakdale passed away peacefully on November 27, 2021 at Cerenity Care Center in White Bear Lake.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Clara Rivard; first wife, Joy; son, Greg and brother, Wallace.  Phil will be missed by his beloved wife, Shirley; children, Gary (Mary), Deborah, Jerry (Diana), Kay and Lisa; Shirley’s children, Sandy, Steve (Becky) and Julie (Steve); brothers, Douglas (Kathy) and many loving cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.  Phil faithfully served his country as a member of the United States Army for 4 years.  He was a public servant working for Ramsey County for 29 years.  In addition to his public service, Phil was always willing and able to help anyone with anything they needed.  A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, May 18 from 1:30 PM to 4 PM with a service at 2:00PM at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul. Family kindly requests that masks be worn. His interment will be a private ceremony for immediate family only at Fort Snelling.  In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be sent directly to the donor’s choice.
