MSG Nicole M. Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, lost her life in service to our country in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait on March 1, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her uncles, Steven and Mark; and grandparents, Patricia, Carl, Owen and Virginia. Nicole is survived by her husband, Joey; son, Owen; daughter, Adeline; parents, Deborah and Todd; siblings, Derek and Tony, and also Dillon and Alyssa and their mother, Janelle; grandma, Patrecia; and many other extended family members and countless friends.
Nicole was a rare and special light in this world, and she will be missed more than words can ever explain. She was an amazing soldier, but more than that she was an amazing wife, mother, and friend. Nicole had a way of being everyone's mother and best friend at the same time. She loved with all of her heart, and she always knew exactly when to throw that perfectly timed sarcastic remark your way. That was her; strong, loving, and real.
While the world is dimmer without her light in it, her love and the impact she made will live on in all of us. Nicole was and always will be the love of Joey's life and her spirit and light continues to shine forth through their children and everyone else who had the blessing of knowing her. We will carry Nicole with us forever. She was loved so greatly by so many people, and she loved each and every one of you right back.
Nicole believed deeply in caring for others and in nurturing life wherever she could. Though we carry the weight of losing her, we also carry the responsibility of continuing the love she shared so freely. Somehow, we have to learn how to carry both this grief and her love for the rest of our lives - putting one foot in front of the other and trusting that her love will continue to guide us forward.
A public visitation will be held from 2 - 6 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake to give all an opportunity to gather and share support for one another.
A Memorial Service will be held the next day at 12 PM (NOON) on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Eagle Brook Church, 2401 Buffalo St, White Bear Lake, MN 55110, with doors opening at 11 AM.
Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Nicole's family is deeply humbled by the overwhelming support they have received. It brings such peace knowing that Nicole is being remembered and honored by so many. During this time if you are searching for ways to be of support to the family, they ask simply for your prayers, memories and stories about Nicole. Your words have already brought immeasurable comfort. Please continue to share by posting these memories and any photos you may have of Nicole on this page below in the online Guestbook section for her family to read.
If you feel moved to contribute to the family, they ask in lieu of flowers or direct donations to donate any funds via Nicole's website, Operation Nikki's Embrace, www.gardenasone.org. Nicole loved to garden and the family will be using these funds to build a greenhouse in Nicole's honor - a living space that reflects the love, warmth, and life she brought into this world, as well as a memorial garden, new school programs, and nonprofit in her name; allowing her light to continue shining and growing, touching lives the same way she always did.
Thank you all for loving her the way you did.
Heavenly Father,
Today we remember Nicole -
a loving wife, a devoted mother, a faithful soldier,
and a light in the lives of so many.
Thank You for the time we were given with her, for her strength, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely.
Thank You for the way she cared for others and the way she brought warmth and life wherever she went.
Lord, hold Nicole close in Your eternal peace. Watch over her as she rests in Your presence.
Please comfort our hearts as we carry the weight of missing her.
Give us strength for each day,
and help us honor her life by loving each other the way she loved us.
May the memories we share keep her spirit alive in our home, and may the work of our hands continue the goodness she brought into this world.
Until we meet again,
We place Nicole in Your care.
Amen.
I like you
I love you,
I am in love with you,
You are my best friend.
and now you will be missed dearly.
