Mohamad Al Zayyadeh

Mohamad "Hamodi" "MoMoney" Alzayyadeh was born in Beirut, Lebanon, on May 27, 1999. Sadly, he passed away unexpectedly in Rincón, Puerto Rico, on April 16, 2024 at the young age of 24. Mohamad spent his childhood in St. Paul, MN, where he attended Central High School and participated in competitive sports including football, track, and swimming. He had love for his mother country, Lebanon, and he enjoyed cooking traditional meals and sharing them with others; always adding some extra grains of love to his dishes, along with extra lemon, garlic, hot pepper, and salt. Some of his favorite homemade meals included Thai fried fish, noodles, rice, Lebanese Thyme bread, Mom's tabbouleh, as well as his special aunt's favorite Baklava. 

Mohamad went to live in Puerto Rico to reevaluate his life plans and to search for his limitless potential for future business opportunities. He enjoyed surfing and sunsets in Puerto Rico and would call home and share those wonderful details with his family. Hamodi was very close to his mom, both in age and spirit, and his siblings meant the world to him. He never missed a birthday celebration or took any special family moment for granted. He was a loyal friend and always put his life up in front of his family and loved ones. Hamodi was an amazing soul, who had a unique ability to connect with everyone he ever interacted with in a memorable way of acceptance and understanding. He was a strong-minded young man, with a soft spot in his heart for those who struggled with homelessness and poverty. His kindness, generosity, and warm smile lit up all of those around him, and although no longer here, the light he gave will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever. He will be missed every day, and forever be remembered as a true legend, a protective big brother, mom's precious son, and a generous loyal friend.

Survived by his devoted mother, Nour Tamimi; siblings, Jumana, Bassim, Doniah, Yasmin, and Zayn; aunt, Rozan; cousins, Rogina, Rozali, and Romeo.

Funeral Service 11AM Friday, April 26, 2024 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior. Burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park immediately following the service.
