Maxine (Max) Katherine VanAlstine Luehring

MAXINE KATHERINE LUEHRING (nee VanAlstine) Passed Away Peacefully at Home - Age 91 “For Pete’s Sake” Maxine loved crossword puzzles and the food cooking channel. She had a no nonsense outlook on life, adored her family and grandkids, and would feed anyone and everyone that came to her house. Preceded in death by husband, Harvey and daughter, Janet. Will be dearly missed by her sons, Robert (Donna), Donald (Debbie) and Duane; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family and friends. Gathering of friends and family 2-4PM on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul with a Memorial Service at 4PM. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the St. Paul Humane Society in memory of her dog, Bubbles.
