Mary Louise, age 91 of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2022.
Mary Lou grew up during the Great Depression in the Frogtown area of St. Paul where she attended school at St. Agnes and St. Vincent. She lived on the East Side while raising her family, then moved to the Battle Creek area where she lived over 50 years, working at Hill-Murray High School and for many years at 3M. Mary Lou volunteered at Woodwinds Hospital, she loved being a homemaker, quilted, created needlework for her family, enjoyed nature especially the birds in her yard, gardening and time with family. She was organized (years as an executive secretary), and self sufficient - living independently in her home until she was 90, until moving to The Waters of Oakdale.
Survived by daughters Mary (Tom) Dulon, of Hudson WI and Jennifer (Chris) Moore of Frederick, MD. Proud grandmother of Michael, Brian (Bridget) and Bradley (Tiandra) Dulon; Nicholas (Dana), and Adam (Christina) Grayson, and Katherine (Vincent) Chase, and great grandchildren Riley, Wyatt, Tatum, Brent, Ellen, Tiberius, Henry, Liam, Caroline and Charlotte, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her devoted husband Michael Carrigan; parents Clarence and Helen Wagner, and sisters Dorothy (Richard) Vinar and Geraldine Wagner.
Memorial service at St. Pascal Baylon Church on a future date to be determined, with a reception to follow the service. Private internment. Memorials preferred to the Humane Society or Second Harvest Food Bank.
