Mary Kloster

Mary Kloster January 12,1935 - April 20, 2020 Preceded in death by her husband, Ken, parents Albin and Marie Vitcenda. Survived by her daughter Kathy Johnson (Vince); grandchildren Brooke Anderson (Tony), Reid Johnson, Brenna Wagg (Cavan); sisters, Joan Zabrowski (Ed), Barb Hesse (Jim), and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mary and her husband lived in Madison, Wisconsin where Mary worked for thirty years as an Optometric Assistant. After the passing of her husband in 2012, Mary moved to The Arbors in White Bear Lake in order to be near her daughter and her family. Mary was a sweet, gentle, gracious and generous woman. Her deep faith, devotion to family and service to her community were constant throughout her life. Mary's great loves were dessert, walking, sewing, volunteering, serving those in need and spending time with her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, financial donations can be made to White Bear Area Emergency Food Shelf where Mary loved to volunteer (whitebearfoodshelf.org). A memorial service will be held when we can gather together again.
