Marilyn M. Lantry was born on October 28, 1932 to Josephine and Louis Kunz.
She passed away on March 28, 2023 surrounded by family.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jerome H. Lantry, and brother Robert Kunz. Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Jackie Lantry (Peter Yelle) and Kathy Lantry (Joe Fleischhacker) and 4 grandchildren, Jacob Lantry (Jamie Eskuri), Justin Lantry (Tasha), Jennifer Zirbes (Kyle) and Jack Yelle. Marilyn adored her 6 great grandchildren, William and Charlie Zirbes, Jeffrey and Josephine Lantry and Rowan and Pierce Lantry. Marilyn was born on the East Side of St. Paul and lived most of her life there. Marilyn represented the East Side as State Senator for 10 years. She was most proud of authoring the law which required car seats for children. Marilyn loved golf, cribbage, reading and completing the New York Times crossword puzzle. Visitation will be at Mueller Mortuary, 835 Johnson Parkway from 4:30 pm-6:30 pm on Friday, March 31, 2023 with a brief service at 5:30. Private interment at Fort Snelling. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Our Lady of Peace, 2076 St. Anthony Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55104.
