Marie "Rita" Ytzen (Buhl)

Age 93 of St. Paul

Passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025. Graduate of Humboldt High School. Married the love of her life, Raymond Ytzen on January 20, 1951. Parishioner at Transfiguration Catholic Church for 65 years. Marie was an avid reader. She also found a love for travel later in life. Her family was the most important thing to her, and she loved them dearly. Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ytzen. Survived by her children, Rita Rae Ytzen, Mark (Vicki) Ytzen, Barbara Nevils, Laura (Joe) Meyers, Lynn (Scott) Gorzlancyk, and Patricia (Dean) Beety; grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister, Audrey Ricker; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30am on Tuesday, August 26 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 6133 15th Street North, Oakdale, with visitation starting one hour prior. Private interment will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
