Margaret LaBelle

LaBelle, Margaret A. Age 95 of Forest Lake died peacefully March 9, 2021. She was born April 17, 1925 in St. Paul to Basil and Isabelle (Daly) Jordan. She lived in St. Paul for 90 years where she was a lifelong and active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church serving as a “church basement lady” for decades. She was most proud of having been a Rosie the Riveter during WWII, and the two-year college degree she earned in her 40’s. She retired from West Publishing. She enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, reading, and sewing. She is predeceased by her parents, her brother Pat and son Jerry Jr. She is survived by her children Greg (Johnny), Maureen (Wes), Mark (Jenny), Ross (Joni). Grandchildren Erik (Jennifer), Carrie (Tim), John (Pam), 8 great-grandchildren, and other family and friends. Thanks to the staff of Cherrywood Pointe, Forest Lake and Ecumen Hospice for their loving and compassionate care. Memorials preferred to the charity of your choice. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service for the immediate family was held. Burial was at Resurrection Cemetery.
