Marcia Jo Fournelle

Marcia Fournelle, Age 87, of White Bear Lake, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Preceded in death by her beloved daughter Julie; parents Kenneth and Helen Rude; and siblings Barbara Davis, Theodore Rude, and Robert Rude. Survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, John; children Amy Smith (Mike) and John (Jan Bauer); cherished grandchildren Betsy Smith (Dan Kornbaum), Alex Smith (Eleanor Wickstrom), and Kate Smith (Ahmed Ali); sister-in-law Gayloria Rude; and many dear nieces and nephews.

Marcia was a founding member of the Bald Eagle Water Ski Club and White Bear Lake 1956 Homecoming Queen. She remained active and joyful throughout her life—skiing with the Tuesday Wipe Out Ski Club well into her 60s, playing tennis, and enjoying lively games of bridge. Above all, she treasured her family.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2026, at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake, with visitation one hour prior. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater. Memorials preferred to the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota.
