Lynda Sypniewski

Sypniewski, Lynda L. 74, of St. Paul passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Preceded in death by her parents, Violet and Edward “Red”; and infant sister, Sharon Marie. Survived by brother, Edward Jr. (Frances); nephews, Edward III (Katie) and William (Tara Dougherty); great nieces and nephews, Jameson, Sabrina, Parker, Finley, and Sullivan; and many other family and friends. She was part owner of Red’s Pizza located on University in Frogtown which was in her family for over 25 years. During that time, she influenced and touched many peoples lives. This influence continued on in her everyday life. She was well known for being warm and welcoming and was like a second mother to her nephews and extended family. Funeral mass will be held at 10: 00 AM on Wednesday, August 18 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Downtown, 261 E 8th St, St Paul, MN 55101. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 17 at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul and an hour prior to the mass at the church on Wednesday. Interment to take place after the mass at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the family.
