Lane William Stunkel
Age 60 of Saint Paul passed away unexpectedly on November 9th.

Lane was a very proud Army Veteran. He was the past commander of the Legion 577 and the past 4th district commander. Lane was an American Legion Rider and an SAL member. He tried to make sure all veterans were taken care of and anyone around him could feel the pride he had surrounding the military.

He is preceded in death by his brother in law, Robert Wanish.
Lane is survived by his wife, Mary; parents, Lloyd and Lorraine; children, Victoria (Adam) Stunkel, Kailey (Justin) Otting, Tyler Stunkel, Tanya (Dan) Allen and Scott (Jordan) Allen; grandchildren, Karissa, Daniel, Brady, Abigail, Lydia, Bryce, Bentley, Benjamin and Landan; siblings, Larry (Laura) Stunkel, Laurie (Jeff) Wanish, Lyndon (Deenah) Stunkel, Lloyd (Julie) Stunkel and Leslie (Tammi) Stunkel; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.
Lane is also survived by his 40&8 Family; MACV Family; Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Family; Vets Camp Family; Legion Family and all of his friends and coworkers at Dell-Comm Inc.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am on Thursday, November 18th at St. Patrick's Church, 1095 DeSoto Street St. Paul. Visitation 4-7pm on Wednesday, November 17th at Mueller Memorial, 835 Johnson Pkwy., St. Paul and also 1 hour prior to Mass at church.
Burial with full military honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery following Mass. There will be a reception at the Arcade-Phalen American Legion after the burial until 3pm.
