Kent Anderson

Kent David Anderson of Maplewood, MN passed away unexpectedly on May 11th, 2023 at the age of 63. Kent was born in Montevideo, MN on December 2nd, 1959 to Darrell and Marie Anderson. He grew up in Maplewood, MN and graduated from North High School in North Saint Paul in 1978. Kent's lifelong profession was a Handyman! His most proud title that he held was that of "DAD!"

Kent and the family enjoyed yearly trips to the cabin in Grand Rapids, MN; where he loved being with his girls and family. Fishing was his favorite time to spend at the cabin with Stacie and Jess. He just beamed with pride when they would come back with a stringer full of fish and it would be even better if one of them would bring a big walleye to show grandpa! One of the most favorite times of all was when he would start blowing up the tubes for tubing. Kent was the one to pull all the cousins and the girls around tubing and skiing. It is a cherished memory for all!

Kent will be remembered for his Love for his girls and watching a movie, dancing or listening to some country music with the girls. Also, everyone will remember his willingness to help anyone out. If you ask anyone, he was loving, kind, thoughtful and handy. (Just like his father.) He could fix anything!

Kent is survived by the daughters he loved and adored with his whole heart; Stacie and Jessica Bellovich. Also, his loving mom, Marie Anderson; his brother, Ross Anderson and his wife Dawn; his sister, Dawn Jennings and her husband, Jack; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his dad, Darrell Anderson; and his brothers, Kevin and Todd.

Kent will be missed by so many. Please remember him with loving thoughts as he was so loving and helpful to so many.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Cross Lutheran Church, 1945 Prosperity Road, Maplewood, with visitation from 10 AM until the time of the service. Reception after service. Private Interment.
