Kathy Juetten

September 16, 1953 — March 4, 2024

Kathy Juetten (Riemenschneider) was born on September 16, 1953, in St. Paul, MN to George and Doris Riemenschneider. Kathy passed away in her home on March 4, 2024.

Kathy was the youngest of her family surrounded by three older brothers, George, Russ, and Roger all of which spent most of their life on St. Paul's east side. She graduated from Harding High School and shortly after graduating she began working at Miller Hospital, later transferring to United Hospital where she retired after 47 years of service.

Kathy was introduced to her husband James Juetten by one of her closest and lifelong friends Lee Ann Harvey. James and Kathy were married and had their only son Jason in 1977. James and Kathy were happily married for almost forty years until James passed away in 2014. Both enjoyed playing darts, spending time on the river and social gatherings with friends. Some of their best times were with their family, especially their grandchildren Alexis and Caitlyn and great grandchild Loralie. A favorite pastime of theirs was watching the Vikings vs Packers games, each rooting for the opposite team. Kathy was such a passionate Vikings fan she often referred to Randy Moss as her brother.

Kathy is preceded in death by her husband James, parents George and Doris, brothers Russ, Roger, and George. She is survived by son Jason (Candi), granddaughters Alexis and Caitlyn, great granddaughter Loralie, honorary brother Randy Moss and cat Cleo.

In her final wishes was a note "Know that I am with Dad now, he has waited long enough."
