Joseph Matthew Tapp

Joseph M. Tapp, 53, of Hugo, died suddenly on Mother's Day May 10, 2026.

 Joe is survived by the love of his life Sarah Kuenzlidaughter Rebecca Jo Jurek; mother Patricia (Jack Kroll); brother John (Sandi); bonus brother Lance Moran; nieces and nephews Kenny, Kassi (Hunter), Lexxi (Joe), Christopher, and Isabelle; Aunt Sue; Uncle Charlie (Marliss). Preceded in death by his beloved daddy, Hank.

Joe was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved his animals and especially time with his family. My dear Twinkie, missing you will never stop, loving you will continue to grow.

A memorial service will be held Monday, May 18, 2026 at 2 PM at Eastern Heights Lutheran Church, 616 Ruth St. N, St Paul, MN 55119, with a visitation beginning at 1 PM. Interment to follow at General Lutheran Cemetery in South Saint Paul. Memorials to the family preferred.
