Joseph F. Guardini

Guardini, Joseph F. Beloved Husband, Father & Grandpa Passed Away Feb. 8, 2012 Preceded in death by wife of 64 years, Lois; sister, Marguerite Gruntner. Survived by son, Jim (Mari); granddaughters, Corinne (Ryan) and Melissa (Danny); sister, Emilie Harrison; brother-in-law, Jim Gruntner; nieces and nephews. Joe was a Veteran of the US Navy serving in WWII aboard the USS McGowan. He was a long time member of the VFW Military Order of the Cootie and Friends of Tin Can Sailors. Volunteering was a large part of Lois and Joe’s life especially with Animal Ark and the VA Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, 10:30 am at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake with visitation 1 hour prior to Mass. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to The Joseph Guardini Memorial Fund.
