Of Oakdale

Passed away on August 8, 2024. Preceded in death by parents, Edward K. Sr. & Gertrude; siblings, Alice, Gertrude, Edward K. Jr., Jerome, and Elizabeth. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Kay (nee Schiltgen); children, Joseph Jr. (Amy), James, Michael (Renee) & Delaney; grandchildren, Liam, Sebastian, Liberty, Maya, Lincoln, and Lewis; siblings, Kathleen, Michael & Sunday Alabi and many cousins, nieces & nephews. Peace Corp volunteer from 1963-1965. Joe also retired from the Minneapolis Public School System after many years teaching physics and math. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, August 21st at 10:30 am at TRANSFIGURATION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 6133 15TH Street North, Oakdale. Visitation Tuesday, August 20th from 5-8:00 pm at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 835 Johnson Parkway and one hour before the Mass at church on Wednesday. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials preferred to donor's choice.
