John Francis Ryan

Born May 18, 1934 in St. Paul, MN. Passed away May 1, 2026 after a short courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents Charles and Bernice, daughter Constance, son Matthew and brothers Charles Jr. "Chuck" & Joseph "Joe". Survived by loving wife of 69 years, Mary (Nadeau), daughter Kay (Mark) Stark, sons Andrew (Theresa) & Gregory (Diana), sister Joan Cunningham, brothers Patrick (Patricia) and Terrence (Sara), 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great grandchildren. John attended Cretin High School and Harding High School Class of 1953; he was a Private First Class in the 101st Airborne for the US Army; a dedicated veteran of 35 years with the St. Paul City Fire department; many years competitive ski jumping as a member of the St. Paul Ski Club and long-time player and member of the Hot Stove Old Timers Baseball League. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, May 15, 2026 at 10:30 am at CHURCH OF ST. PASCAL BAYLON, 1757 Conway Street with visitation starting at 9:30 am. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
