John Francis Ryan

Born May 18, 1934 in St. Paul, MN. Passed away May 1, 2026 after a short courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by daughter Constance, son Michael and brothers Charles Jr. & Joseph. Survived by loving wife of 69 years, Mary (nee Nadeau), daughter Kay (Mark) Stark, sons Andrew (Theresa) & Gregory, sister Joan Cunningham and brothers Patrick (Patricia) and Terrence (Sara). John graduated from Cretin High School Class of 1953; he was a Private First Class in the 101st Airborne for the US Army; a dedicated veteran of 35 years with the St. Paul City Fire department; many years competitive ski jumping as a member of the St. Paul Ski Club and Long time player and member of the Hot Stove Old Timers Baseball League. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, May 15, 2026 at 10:30 am at CHURCH OF ST. PASCAL BAYLON, 1757 Conway Street with visitation starting at 9:30 am.  Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
