J. Richard "Ricky" Judge

February 27, 1960 — March 18, 2024

John Richard "Ricky" Judge, beloved son of the late B.M. Judge and Ruby Murphy Judge, and brother to Benjamin, Ronald, Patricia and Byron, departed this life on Monday, March 18, 2024, at his home in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Ricky was born in Greenville, South Carolina, February 27, 1960. He was raised in Easley, South Carolina, and Newport News, Virginia, graduating from Denbigh High School. After earning his Bachelor's Degree from Concordia College in Moorhead in 1982, Ricky made Minnesota his home, working for the County and later the State of Minnesota, Department of Human Services from which he recently retired after serving many years as an Insurance Specialist. Ricky also served Catholic Charities for over a decade working with those in need at St. Joseph's Home for Children. Richard loved the Lord, his family and friends, everything musical and the arts. He was an active member of Kingdom Life Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Ricky leaves to cherish loving memories his siblings, Benjamin (Sheree) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Ronald of Newport News, Virginia, Patricia Imes of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, Byron Coleman (Janice) of Fayetteville, Georgia; nieces: Britney, Rachel and Selena Judge, Erin Stewart, Tawana Cottries; nephews: Rees Judge, Jason Imes, Derek Coleman (Keita); god-daughter Seqouia Crockett of Bloomington, Minnesota; and a host of loving family and friends throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia, Easley/Greenville, South Carolina, and Minneapolis/Saint Paul, Minnesota. Burial services will be held in Hampton, Virginia at the convenience of the family. In addition, a memorial celebration hosted by Richard's Minnesota family and friends will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2024, 11am-Noon, Kingdom Life Church, 3751 N. Sheridan Avenue N, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
