Passed away in hospice from cancer. Preceded in death by parents Belvin and Mabel. Survived by Loving wife of 64 years Shirley; children Beth; Laurie (Jim) Ross; Dave (Lisa); Karen (Terry) Sager & John. 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, special friends The Malone/Stroh family, and sister Janelle Kogl. Worked at Hamm's 38 years, Retired, and spent as much time as he could at Balsam Lake. He so enjoyed that cabin, loved fishing that lake, and always wanted a cabin full of family. The man was full of character and a zest for living. He was a tough and Proud East Sider. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, August 23rd at 11:00 am at ST. MARY OF THE LAKE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, with visitation starting at 9:30 am. Private interment Fort Snelling. Memorials to St. Mary of the Lake Church.
