Joan Irene Stodola (nee Kovacs)
Age 94 of Oakdale
Passed away on August 3, 2026. Joan was born in Chicago, IL on December 19, 1931. She is preceded in death by husband of 69 years, James Stodola; brothers, Jack Kovacs & Joe Daninger; and great granddaughter, Grace Doffin. Survived by children, Pam (Jeff) Madsen, Jim (Laurie) Stodola, and Jolene (Mike) Conners; grandchildren, Jaclyn Doffin, Jim Stodola, Janelle Nordtvedt, Melanie Nietupski, Justine Barrett; 13 great grandchildren; nieces & nephews; other relatives, great neighbors & friends. Special thanks to the staff of Oak Meadows Senior Living for making it a comfortable home for Joan for the past 5 years. Visitation 10am Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th St. N, Oakdale, 55128, with Mass of Christian Burial starting at 11am. Burial at Union Cemetery, Maplewood.
