Jeffrey L. Peterson, age 75 of White Bear Lake, passed away on June 29, 2026.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather whose family meant everything to him. He lived with love, loyalty, and unwavering dedication, always putting the people he loved first. He was the kind of father every child hopes to have—supportive, present, patient, and deeply invested in his family.
He loved coaching and spent countless hours on the baseball diamond in the summer and the basketball court in the winter. Some of our best childhood memories were with him coaching our baseball team, alongside many of our closest friends. He was more than a coach—he was a mentor, teacher, and role model who taught us how to compete with heart, work hard, support one another, and carry ourselves with character.
Professionally, he built an outstanding career in the paper and packaging industry, where he became known as an exceptional salesman. Through hard work, integrity, and genuine relationships, he earned the respect and admiration of his peers and colleagues.
He loved golf and looked forward to playing every Sunday at Oak Glen with his sons and close work friends. Those rounds were about more than golf—they were about friendship, laughter, competition, and time with the people he loved most.
Home on Bald Eagle Lake was where many of our family’s greatest memories were made. He took pride in keeping the yard immaculate, loved summers on the speedboat, and was the grill master of the house, always ready for a family dinner or gathering with friends. The lake, the boat, the yard, and the grill were the backdrop for countless memories filled with laughter, love, and togetherness.
He was a passionate Minnesota sports fan and proudly cheered for the Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves, and Wild through every season.
As his sons, we can say without hesitation that he taught us how to be the men we are today. He showed us the importance of character, dignity, respect, and integrity, and how a man should treat others—especially women—with kindness, respect, and honor. He also showed us what true love looks like through the way he treated our mother, always with the respect and devotion of a true gentleman.
We will miss him beyond words, but we will carry his lessons, values, and love with us for the rest of our lives. His legacy will live on through his family and through all those fortunate enough to have known and loved him."
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Chet & Marj; and brother, Steve. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, & grandfather by his wife, Kathy; sons Brandon (Jackie) & Ryan (Ashley); and grandchildren Kira, Theodore, & Amelia.
Visitation for Jeff will begin at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 11, followed by a Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM, both at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 4738 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake.
