Janet Opsahl

Janet A. Opsahl, 83, of White Bear Lake passed away after a tough and courageous battle with pneumonia and post-surgery recovery on August 29, 2024. She joins the love of her life, Robert F. and her parents. Janet will be greatly missed by her children, Thomas (Darlyn), Allen (Mary), and David (Delena); grandchildren, Kalani, Nicole, Malia, Amber, Maison, Keegan, Matthew, Sara, Kayli, Katlyn, Kyle, Jennesa, and Brianna; sisters, Ginny and Betty (Mike); and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. 

Janet was a devoted military wife and took care of their home and children while Robert was in the Air Force. She worked for Sears for 36 years in the receiving and sales department. In her later years, she enjoyed time with her friends at the Waters and playing dominoes. Janet was strong and fiercely independent and also a kind and loving mother. 

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Mueller Memorial, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110 with visitation from 10 AM until the time of the service. Celebration of life to follow services at Mueller Memorial. Private family interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
