Passed peacefully Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the age of 79. Amazing husband of over 40 years to Sue Marrone. Loving father of Maria Schmidt, Vanessa (Peter) Carlson, and Tina Letourneau. Proud grandfather of James, Anthony, Theresa, Angela, Sarah, Peter, Jesse, Zachariah, Lucas, Noah, Ethan, Michaela, Emma, and Tyler. Jim will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a dedicated husband, loving father, and supportive friend who would do all he could to help others.

Jim was born on the East side of Saint Paul to Anthony and Margaret Marrone. After starting his family, he moved to Hugo, MN.

Jimmy worked for Jerry's Produce for 58 years, starting as the first full time employee. He was passionate about many things including bowling, hunting, fishing, golfing, cars, playing cards, and racing. Most of all, he loved his family. He was a stubborn Italian/German man who never backed down from any obstacle put before him.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, March 4 at Mueller Parkway Chapel in Saint Paul, MN from 3 to 6 p.m. with a time of sharing at 5:30 p.m.
