James "Jim" Guardini

Age 79 of White Bear Lake, MN

Passed away peacefully on October 31, 2026. Born on March 11, 1947, in Saint Paul, MN. Jim was a graduate of Harding High School. Across his 46-year career at Remmele Engineering, he advanced from tool‑and‑die maker to IT manager, leaving a remarkable legacy of mastery and commitment.

Jim had a natural talent for handyman projects and thoroughly enjoyed tinkering for hours in his garage. He embraced every opportunity to learn and improve, ensuring that things were always running smoothly, whether at work or at home. He was a proud member of the Minnesota Street Rod Association, as well.

Jim spent much of his time outdoors in his expansive yard and on the lake. Whether it was Webb Lake or Bald Eagle Lake he enjoyed boating, water skiing and jet skiing, creating lasting memories with family and friends. A true animal lover at heart, Jim shared his life with many dogs: Brandy, Max, Malibu, Lola, and Teddy, to name a few.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Lois Guardini.

Jim is survived by wife, Mari Guardini; daughters, Corinne Applegate & Melissa Kellenberger; grandchildren, Gianna, Haddie, William, and Weston; and many other family & friends.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11am on Friday, November 20, 2026 at St. Mary of the Lake Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, with visitation starting at 10am at the church. Interment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery.
