James Morris Dean was born on June 25, 1936 in St. Paul and passed away on May 28, 2026 at the age of 89 years. He was preceded in death by his parents James & Georgia and a sister Maureen Holmes. James is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jane (nee Flynn); sons Dan (Judy), Michael (Kate) & Matt (Laura); grandchildren Jenna, James, Colin, Marta, Jack, Joseph, Liam, Jane & Maria; great granddaughter Georgia and sister Kathleen Douglas (James). Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:00 am at CHURCH OF ST. JEROME, 380 Roselawn Avenue, St. Paul with visitation starting at 10:00 am. Lunch will follow. Private interment Roselawn Cemetery.
