James "Jim" Adler

Passed away suddenly on August 31, 2023. Jim was born on March 14, 1952, in St. Paul, MN. He was a vibrant, fun, outgoing, and friendly person who always had a smile on his face. Jim was warm and charming, making friends wherever he went. Jim was an amazing dad and grandpa who never missed one of his granddaughters' activities. He cherished his family and leaves behind a legacy of love. His absence leaves an immeasurable void in their lives. Jim recently retired after dedicating over 30 years of his life to White Bear Lincoln. His unwavering loyalty and exceptional work ethic were admired by his colleagues and left a lasting impact on the community he served. Jim found solace in the simple joys of life. He had a profound appreciation for the beauty of nature, finding serenity in the changing colors of a sunset, the tranquility of the ocean, and the songs of birds. Jim is survived by his eldest daughter, Jamie Gregory, and son-in-law, Scott, along with his granddaughters, Annika, Arabella, Adelina, and Ayla. He is also survived by his daughter, Nicole Simertz, her husband Jake, and their children, Hunter and Riley. His son, Trenton Adler, and sister, Sandra Schultz (Rick), also mourn his loss. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, June Brune, father, John Adler, and daughter, Samantha Adler. Jim's vibrant personality, and dedication to his family and career will be fiercely missed. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Service Sunday October 1, 2023 at 3:00 pm at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 4738 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake with visitation starting at 2:00 pm. Private interment Evergreen Memorial Garden, Mahtomedi.
