Irene Quinn

Quinn, Irene A. (nee Costello), 103, of Woodbury, formerly of St. Paul, passed away on April 28, 2025, surrounded by her children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Joseph; and her 7 siblings. She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Norbert) Tennessen, Patrick (Lana), Sr. Peggy Quinn OSF, and Michael (Kathleen); 9 grandchildren, Brian (Denise) Tennessen, Tracy Tennessen, Kelly (Matt Hodgman), Gavin (Katie), Tim (Julie), Molly (Brad) Wiestenberg, Dan (Stephanie), Nick (Lindsay), and Caitlyn; 10 great grandchildren, Ava, Andrew, Vivian, Isla, Alex, Libby, Evie, Aidan, Carson, and Jack; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Irene was born in the Irish Hill Area of Kellogg MN on a farm where she grew up with her 7 siblings. She met and married Joseph Quinn and together they raised 4 children. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Throughout Irene's incredible 103 years of life, she was always keeping active and busy. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, golfing, attending sporting events, dancing, music, and staying connected with her numerous friends. Irene knew how to have fun and loved to laugh. She never let anything set her back- she even was fairly tech savvy and could navigate her iPad well, staying informed on her Facebook and playing games. Faith was very important to Irene and she was a long-time member at The Church of St. Pascal Baylon. Irene's love and presence will be greatly missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at the Catholic Church of St. Pascal Baylon, 1757 Conway St, St Paul, with visitation an hour prior at the Church. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery.
