Passed away at home surrounded by loving family on July 18, 2023, at the age of 99½. Loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Preceded in death by loving husband Michael, by both parents, sister Amalia and brother Adelmo of Italy. Survived by sister Vanda Elia of Italy. Survived by loving daughters Rose (Rick) Lumb, Michelina (John) Mariano and son Michael Colosimo. Grandchildren Danielle Colosimo, Gina (Scott) Altobelli, Michelina Colosimo, Michael (Candice) Colosimo, Mariah (Jordan) Aug, Vinny (Alejandra) Colosimo, Mikayla (Liv) Mariano, Adrianna (Matt Birk), Alanna (Marc) Caruso, Kailey Colosimo and the Bartone family. Great grandchildren Dynastee and Jayda Mackey, Alexander and Alexis Altobelli and Aria Aug. She was born in Zagarise, Calabria and came to Minnesota in 1956. She enjoyed cooking, casino, bocce ball, playing poker and volunteering. Started with Dayton's in 1972, then changes to Marshall Fields and then Macy's. But the biggest claim to fame is the famous popovers that she made. She made them until she retired at the age of 89 after 40 years of service. They felt that they were so famous they crowned her the popover queen. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday July 26th at CHURCH OF ST. PASCAL BAYLON, 1757 Conway St, St. Paul at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior. Visitation at Tuesday, July 25th at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 835 Johnson Pkwy, St. Paul from 3:00-8:00pm with Time of Remembrance at 6:15pm and Rosary at 7:00pm.
