Age 87 formerly of St. Paul

Born in St. Paul on November 23, 1934 and died in Little Falls on July 31, 2022. Preceded in death by wife Virginia; parents Paul & Agnes and siblings Jerry Prax & Betty Schaefer. Survived by son Steven Prax (Tracy); brother Al Prax; step-daughter  Carla Cholette (Luke); step-granddaughter Careesha; many cousins and extended family. Ervin worked at Whirlpool for 32 years and finished his career at Midwest Special Services. He was a proud US Army veteran. Often was referred to as "Putz" because you could find Ervin working on motorcycles, classic cars or helping neighbors and friends with any kind of projects on their vehicles- he was always "putzing" with something.  He was an avid hunter & loved to water ski, he taught Steven to slalom ski at the age of 8 and by 10 Steven was backing up the boat trailer into the water with a stick shift truck. Visitation Friday, August 5th from 3:00- 7:00 pm at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 835 Johnson Parkway with a prayer service at 4:00 pm.  Private interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
