Ostrum, Elvira Passed December 22, 2013 After 91 glorious years Preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; dear friend, Joe; sister, Agatha; brother, Donald; sons-in-law, George and Duane; and by three grandchildren. Survived by children, James (Peg), Judith Splitstoser, Marie Clewette, Vivian Leon, Dale (Donna), Renea (Harold) Jorgenson; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ora Payne and Vida Cordell; and by brothers, Thorlough (Lucy) Meier and Maurice Meier. Enthusiastically enjoyed bowling, cribbage, fishing and spending time at the cabin. 40 plus year member of the North St. Paul VFW Auxiliary. Visitation 10 AM – 1 PM Monday, December 30, 2013 at Mueller Memorial Parkway Chapel, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul. Burial to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
