Elizabeth “Betty” Louise Sandvig

Age 94 of White Bear Lake, MN

She was born April 3, 1931 and died peacefully on May 29, 2025 at Maplewood Assisted Living. Betty married her sweetheart Ronald “Ron” Sandvig who was a Sargent in the US Army in July of 1952. They enjoyed their life together in White Bear Lake and at their lake home on Cross Lake in Pine City, MN. Betty was a loving wife to Ron until he passed away in April of 2017. They loved to entertain and travel. Sadly, she also lost her only child, her daughter Karin unexpectedly died in June of 2024. Betty enjoyed her career at 3M for over 30 years. She also was a longtime member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Betty cherished her family and friends and was especially close to her aunts, uncles and three brothers. Small dogs were always part of Betty’s life, and she enjoyed their companionship over the years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ron; daughter, Karin; and brothers, Donald “Don” McCarthy, Robert “Bob” Bloomstrom and Delwin “Del” Blomstrom. She is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will begin with a Visitation at 10 AM and Memorial Service at 11 AM on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Mueller Memorial Funeral Home, 4738 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
