Donna Brundage

Donna Brundage, 82, of White Bear Lake, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James; parents, Francis and Donald Kuecker. She is survived by siblings, Jo Ann Mathews, Donald (Darlene) Kuecker Jr., Richard (Margie) Kuecker, Mary Ala, Larry (Karen) Kuecker, Betty (Mike) Pauley, Robert (Roberta) Kuecker, and Barry (Chris) Kuecker; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Donna was born in West Bend, Iowa and lived and grew up on a farm. She was the oldest of 9 kids and was very responsible. She was an honor student and President of her senior class. She played the drums in both Iowa and Minnesota. She graduated in 1960 from Campbell, Minnesota.  Her family had moved there when she was in 10th grade. She worked as a telephone operator for Northwestern Bell and retired after 32 years. Donna married Jim in 1963. They lived in Minneapolis and moved to White Bear Lake 33 years ago. They traveled extensively and loved to gamble at the Casinos. Donna also loved garage saling and during the last few years was an avid caretaker for Jim. She was a great sister and great aunt to many- never forgetting the Brundage's. She will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the American Legion, 2210 3rd St., White Bear Lake, MN 55110. Interment of James and Donna will take place on Monday, September, 16, 2024 at 11:15 AM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, meeting at Assembly Area #2.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
