Donald M Cammack

Donald Marion Cammack, 91 of Hugo, MN passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Donald was born and raised in Mequon, Wisconsin. He earned a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and worked for the state of Wisconsin Department of Transportation, beginning as a licensed land surveyor and rising to the position of Chief of Airport Development for the Bureau of Aeronautics, earning the Governor's Award for 33 years of service. Donald's passion was flying.

Donald was preceded in death by parents, Donald & Marion Cammack; and brother-in-law; Tom Smith.

Donald was surrounded by a family that loved him. He was survived by his children, Jennifer (John) Wynstra, Michael (Diana) Cammack, Daniel (Sachiko) Cammack; grandchildren, Danny (Jessica) Cammack, Laura (Mark) Eisenschenks, David Wynstra, Joshua (Abigail) Wynstra, Caleb Wynstra, Seiko (Marcus) Cammack/Heimberger, Joseph (Kennedy) Cammack/Byers, Mark Cammack; great grandchildren, Andrew Wynstra, Alessia and Arielle Wynstra, Michael and Amelia Cammack, sisters, Janice (Bob) Blackstad, Sue Smith, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, Mark and Scott Blackstad, Julie (Brian) Conton, Will, Luke, Ben, Gorham, Kelley Swalling, Amanda, Micah Swalling, Michael (Melissa), Maeve, Miles Smith.

A small private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred in Donald's honor to the Samaritan's Purse.
