Tom Alexander

February 23, 1937 — July 25, 2022

Donald Thomas "Tom" Alexander, of White Bear Lake, Age 85, from North St. Paul/ Maplewood. Tom grew up on the east side of St. Paul and attended Cretin High School where he excelled as an athlete. He was a standout baseball pitcher and received a scholarship to the University of Minnesota. After serving in the Army Reserve he met June, the love of his life. They were married for 56 years and enjoyed Saturday night bowling and traveling. Las Vegas and Fort Myers were two of his favorite destinations. After retiring as a beer distributor for Pabst Blue Ribbon, Tom helped raise his three grandchildren and will forever be known to them as "The Best Papa Ever!" He was a lifelong sports fan and was dedicated to watching all Minnesota sports, as challenging as that was some years. Tom was known for his wonderful sense of humor and easygoing nature. He is survived by his wife, June; daughter, Pam(Kevin); son, Mark(Laura); and grandchildren Alex, Sophie and Sami. Private service was held at St. Mary's Cemetery in North St. Paul.
